On the contrary, they are dreaming of entering a "left" coalition
government which would be, of course, a capitalist government, just as
they already do in the federal states of Berlin and
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

But one should remember that the 10'000 members of Linkspartei.PDS in
Berlin (which are being compared to the 800 members of WASG there) are
in large part the remnants of the old GDR state burocracy.
