[Marxism] Eleanor Marx/ ( defender of Marx)

My chief interest, actually, is in Eleanor Marx & her biographer, both of
whom are too little known. Eleanor certainly thought that Helmut was her
brother -- and paternity is _always_ based on gossip only unless someone
checks the DNA. One of the most ancient of proverbs, "It is a wise child who
knows his/[her]  father. And I agree that who is the son of whom is not of
very great interest.

CB; Carrol, I believe Eleanor's biographer says that Engels claimed to be
the child's father until he (Engels) was on his death bed, when he told that
the child was Marx's. Engels , single, was covering for Marx, who was
married.

The child was the child of the maid in the Marx household, Ms. Demuth , I
believe.
