RETHINKING THE 'NDP ORIENTATION' 1973-1975
Between 1973 and 1975, Canada's League for Socialist Action/Ligue
Socialiste Ouvriere carried out an in-depth re-evaluation of the its
analysis of and policies towards the New Democratic Party. This was
the most complete discussions of the NDP ever conducted by Marxists
in Canada.
This month the Socialist History Project begins publishing key
documents from that discussion, most of which have not been available
for over 30 years. The initial posting focuses on documents that
reflect the LSA/LSO majority's views. Documents from critics of those
views will be added as soon as possible.
ON LINE NOW:
** An Overview of the 1973-1975 NDP Discussion in the LSA/LSO
** Our Orientation to the NDP ? as a strategy ? and its tactical
application (1970)
** Excerpt from LSA/LSO Political Resolution (1973)
** Is the LSA/LSO 'Tail-Ending Reformism'? (1973)
** Some Starting Points for an NDP Debate (1973)

CANADIAN BOLSHEVIKS: We receive frequent queries about where to
purchase Canadian Bolsheviks, which isn't available in many
bookstores, Most bookstores will special order it, but that can take
several weeks.
The easiest and fastest way we've found is to order online from
Chapters-Indigo in Canada or from Amazon in the U.S.A. Both normally
ship within 24 hours.
And Chapters-Indigo is still offering a 30% discount if you buy it
online. That's the best price we know about.
