I find it sad that so many marxists continue to daydream in the antique
and totally irrelevant religious debate between stalinists (who no
longer exist) and trotskyists (who no longer exist). Even those who call
themselves stalinists are not, nor are those who call themselves
trotskyists, trotskyists. One can no more belong to those isms than one
can take a position on Robespierre vs Danton, or Caesar vs Cicero.
