Please, RR man, don't keep laying red herrings at yours truly's path. 
 Not only I understood "What is to be done".  I understood "Permanent 
revolution"  too.  You may say I didn't.  It's up to you.

The real position of a serious revolutionary states that the struggle 
for independence and dignity of a semicolony is in fact part of a 
larger struggle against the bourgeoisie and for socialism. Trotsky 
wrote some pages about this (and I quote Trotsky because I am 
sticking to the Holy Books of a Marxism list)

And I am afraid that I know a deal lot more about Bolivia than Wayne 
Rossi, this is for granted.  Even though I don't consider myself a 
pundit, not at all.  But at least what I _do_ know (and not only from 
theory, but from concrete struggles on the spot) is that those who 
establish a China Wall between the national tasks and the socialist 
tasks in _any_ semicolony are in fact preaching the isolation of the 
working masses, and thus (unwillingly) preparing their defeat.

I would have NEVER suggested a single course of action for the NYC 
transport workers.  I bow humbly at what the cdes. can do, and even 
at what they can't do.  

Why are people such as Wayne so eager not only to "suggest courses of 
action" but even to "teach others what they should do"?  Is it so far 
a cry away from left-wing imperialist haughtiness?

Come on, RR man. There are some that you can't defend.
