[Marxism] educational course on Marxism...

From my own experience I would suggest a number of titles. Pick and choose
the ones which you feel are relevant.

Socialism on Trial-James P Cannon. This book is the court proceedings of a
trial of the leadership of the American SWP. Cannon, in my opinion, gives a
fantastic introduction to the method of Marxism. Because it is in a Q and A
format, it is exceptionally accessible.

Teamster rebellion- Farrell Dobbs. A description of the Minneapolis teamster
strikes in the 1930?s U.S. A must read.

Wage labour and Capital. Karl Marx. A basic introduction to Marxist economic
theory, from the beardy man himself. Short and to the point.

Communist Manifesto. Marx and Engels. Also, perhaps reading ?principles of
communism? by Engels with it.

Preface to a contribution to the critique of political economy. By Marx. A
basic introduction to the materialist conception of history. Again, very
short.

State and Revolution. Lenin.

Women?s liberation and the African freedom struggle. Thomas Sankara. A
speech by a leader of the Burkina Faso, explaining how class society and
women?s oppression are linked.

Introduction to the logic of Marxism. By George Novack. Does what it says on
the label.

The second declaration of Havana.

Also, In defence of Marxism, By Leon Trotsky.

Socialism and Man in Cuba. Che Guevara.

I know there are others, but perhaps other comrades can add to the list? I
would also add that the majority of titles are available at
www.pathfinderpress.com which is certainly worth a look around anyway.

Oh and also try and get ?socialism and war? by Lenin.
