DeFreeze wanted to kill Foster because he was supposedly some kind of
comprador element in the Black community. By this point, Black militants
killing other Black "sellouts" was an old story unfortunately.

In fact there is not that much remorse at all reflected in the interviews.
I would urge Brian and anybody else to watch Robert Stone's documentary for
a deeper understanding of the SLA phenomenon.
