Paddy, what you say in this post is not what you said in your previous
post.
Clearly, all struggles confront different situations. All struggles are
variations. But they are "variations on a theme."
You proposed that the current struggles in LA have nothing in common
with previous struggles. Certainly Bolivia is "close" to the US, but no
closer than Cuba was, and no closer than Russia was to Germany in 1917.
Commonality, or lack thereof, as you describe it, needs a material,
economic basis. If that economic basis is different, then the class
struggle is different. I am asking you to describe specifically the
economic "change" that makes all previous experiences in class struggle
no longer applicable.
