[Marxism] Where to study within a Marxist framework?
Hi there,
I recently finished my master degree in Social Anthropology at the University
of Oslo, Norway. I wrote about the town of Douglas, AZ on the border to
Mexico and the way my informants there relate to the state (the United
States). And I did end up writing largely within a Marxist framework.
However, to was quite a struggle to get to do that, and other than my
superviors Thomas Hylland Eriksen, still most of the staff there seems to
strongly disapprove of what I did.
That is why I am wondering: are there any universities in the English- German-
or Scandinavian-speaking part of the world that are known for being open
towards phd-students within the field of anthropology who like to work within
the Marxist tradition?
