I'm usually cynical about films like "Rent", but I found it to be an
amazing, emotional, cathartic, life affirming experience, one that
reflected some of the themes of my own life.  No, it's not a film
bursting with political theory or one that requires deep thought.
In my opinion, it doesn't need to be.
