[Marxism] Reading Capital
I have just completed a systematic reading of Capital volume 1, over the
course of which I have compiled extensive reading notes. The idea of
taking notes was to recapitulate to myself what seemed to me the most
important, interesting, relevant points in the text, as much to help me
to understand them as well as so as to have a record of them for
reference. If anyone is interested in having a copy of my notes, they
are welcome to them, on the understanding that they represent not a
finished and definitive statement on my part but an intellectual
work-in-progress, an exercise in thinking out loud, to which I shall
probably return, to revise, amend, add to, remove and generally develop
over time. With his point in mind, I naturally welcome comments, advice,
criticisms, and so on.
The notes are in two file and two logistical formats: respectively,
Microsoft Word and plain text; and chapter-by-chapter and in one long
document. To get a copy, write to me off-list; unless you specify a
particular format you will get by default a zip file (1.162 KB) of the
whole thing.
