[Marxism] Re-reading Capital? (kristianlasslett@yahoo.com.au)

I am currently trying to develop my understanding of the deeper nuances of 
Marxist economics (I am a 'criminologist' who researches state crime - and I am 
trying to explain state crime in terms of the contradictions of capitalism (for 
which brute force is oft used to temporarily cure)). I am hoping some comrades 
on this list may be able to suggest to me, some readings which could help flesh 
out in detail the important fineries in Marx's enormous volumes of work 
(particularly more recent works that grapple with Marxist economics).

  I have found David Harvey's, Limits to Capital a great deal of help - I am 
also hoping to pick up a copy of Fine and Harris, Re-Reading Capital.

  If anyone could suggest anything that may help me, I would greatly appreciate 
it.
