   The question I have about this (and his recent other statement) is why is
Iran's president spouting off like this?

   Is he really just an idiot who is ranting?  Or is he trying to position
himself in Iran's domestic politics and/or to get Iranians psyched for the
spring attack on Iran by the US and/or Israel?
