Below is what I sent to a couple UFPJ lists after reading their
statement.

UFPJ's decision is unbelievably bad news, and their arguments for it
are appallingly transparent and petty. And I say this as someone who
holds no brief for ANSWER's politics or methods.

What makes UFPJ's decision even worse is that it came the same weekend
that US Labor Against War took a major step in promoting a spring
mobilization, centered on a call for a mass march in DC in April. The
intention is to unite ALL antiwar groups -- not just those
it's "comfortable" working with. We must bend every effort to make
