Re: [Marxism] Hansen's "Cuba, The Acid Test" now available online!
Let me just add to Walter's endorsement of the piece it's more
general importance as a study in the proper method to use in
analyzing phenomena which don't match alleged norms of what
a revolution or revolutionary government would look like. Walter's
right about lessons to be learned in the piece for state-cappers
and bureaucratic collectivist types, but Hansen's foil were
sectarian orthoTrots.
So the general method used by Hansen is important today for analyzing
Venezuela, Bolivia, etc. Or for that matter new and unfamiliar
phenomenon in the U.S.
