Wow, this will be the last time I make a quick generalization on this
list. But as usual Joaquin makes some good points out of whatever he
picks up on.

For the last time, all I was trying to say was that the level and
intensity of the movement declined after winning the right to vote. This
often happens with the ruling class makes a concession, whether on a
democratic issue or a labor contract, they get some class peace for a
while, so they can regroup. They did a lot of regrouping in the eighties
and nineties up to today, and took back a lot of ground, being careful
not to provoke a mass, generalized uprising by any major opposing force.
