If the Labor Party can get on the ballot, though, it may well outpoll
what the Democrats were doing in the state. After something like that,
a Labor ticket gets to be seen as a viable option.
I suppose one good indication of how serious the labor movement down
there is about making a go of this is whether it calls on supporters
from outside the state to come to South Carolina and help.
