[Marxism] Clarification

Last week when I noticed Frank Fried's name mentioned in the Irving Beinin
obit, I wrote as follows:

"Frank's an interesting character. I had a phone conversation with him once
but never had a chance to interview him as I did Sol Dollinger and Irwin
Baur. After the Socialist Union collapsed, Frank got involved in music
productions sort of like Bill Graham."

This business about never having had a chance to interview him might have
been interpreted as meaning that he is deceased. If so, that was not my
intention. I should have said something like "I have not yet had the chance
to interview him..."

In fact, Frank is alive and well and only 78 years old. I spoke to him at
length this morning since he was obviously concerned about a false
impression that comrades might have been left with. (Frank is on Marxmail.)
He also told me that he is working on a memoir. News about that will ensue.
