[Marxism] anti-war event

I am trying to organize an anti-war event at my college for sometime in March 
to mark the third anniversary of the war but don't have a clear sense of what 
kind of event will work best. I would be interested in any ideas you might have 
about this. here is a message I recently sent out to a few faculty and students 
asking them for ideas. 

I think we should begin planning an event to mark the anniversary of the war 
against Iraq for sometime in March which should be something different from a 
teach-in. we need something that will attract the students to come of their own 
free will, although bringing classes is not out of the question. I am open to 
all ideas at this point. Something involving vets from the Iraq war and maybe 
groups like Veterans for Peace and Military Families against the war, but also 
some of our own students who have served in Iraq. I would love to get Cindy 
Sheehan or some other well known speaker but don't know what this would cost. 
it would be very important  to involve student clubs and the Student Government 
 as well as the faculty in the planning of what ever we do. perhaps we could 
link the war to domestic policy like the government's handling of Katrina, if 
people will have not already forgotten New Orleans by March.
