Oh come on now, there is nothing anymore inherently 'European' about
Marxism than could be found in the cultures of Russia--or Turkey or
Greece or ancient Persia for that matter. The weakest part of any
argument to the contrary would rest on the term 'European', but it
could also be destroyed where it was supposedly strongest (cultural
relativism as an analytic tool in critiquing imperialism).
