Historian and veteran socialist Cliff Conner is the author of excellent
biographies of Marat, and of the Irish nationalist fighters Colonel
Despard and (as yet unpublished) Arthur O'Connor.

     I thought you might be interested in knowing that my new book,
"A People's History of Science," has just been published.  (The
"official" publication date is November 11, but it is in fact already
off the presses.)

     It should be in the bookstores soon, but if you like ordering
books on-line, I see that Amazon.com is offering it for $12.21 (a
bargain, because the list price is $17.95).
