[Marxism] Hurricane season now in Beta ...

        No, this is not a pre-release test to get the bugs out.
        
        The hurricane season is now in Beta because the number of named
storms outstripped the number of names (when it reached Wilma it had
equaled the previous record) and thus the naming convention after that
is to use Greek letters, something that had never happened before. 

        As with Wilma before it, the National Hurricane Center is saying
conditions for the strengthening of Beta are very favorable, and it is
expected that it will become a hurricane overnight and hit the northern
part of the Nicaraguan Atlantic Coast in a couple of days, probably as a
category 2 or perhaps even a 3. Like Wilma, Beta is just hanging out in
the Caribbean and moving *very* slowly.

        While with our present knowledge it is impossible to assert
categorically that global climate change is responsible for the
unprecedented number of storms, every new cyclone makes the evidence
stronger.
