The US military says that its operations before the vote in order to
intimidate, kill, make homeless the Sunni consists of at least four
major operations:

been sweeping through Haditha, Haqlaniyah and Parwana. On Saturday
smoke was seen billowing from some Haditha houses as U.S helicopters
flew overhead and machine gun fire rang out.
