A word or two about civility, puerility, and proper discourse:

I am more than content to leave unsubbing decisions completely, and
solely, in the hands of the moderator.

But there is abuse, there is merciless criticism and direct
confrontation mis-labeled (or mislabelled) as abuse, and there is abuse
disguised a "rational discourse," "political position."

Certain phrases, pseudo-analyses, ideological positions have been, and
are, codes, covers, justification, predictors for and of real violence,
real murder, real indiscriminate brutality.  Such a phrase is "Islamist
filth."  The fact that a  "Marxist" uses those terms does not change the
triggerering, and I do mean trigger, actions of the phrase-- the
triggering action of general, indiscriminate attacks and justification
of attacks on people of the Islamic faith, of people of any faith living
in Iraq, or elsewhere in the  lands coveted by our new crusaders.

Also abusive are the terms, the ideological posturing that-- "any
position other than ___, ________, objectively supports the fascists and
is traitorous to the workers.."

Such as the above, pretending be civil, objective, rational,  is the
language and  terms  of real violence, real murder, and should be more
than recognized for what it is.  It should bring forth a response from
those outside the church of faux socialism and false civilty  equal in
force, depth, and passion to the real threat contained in the sinister
civility, the objectionable "objectivity" of such pseudo-friendly
discussion.
