2. Ah yes, certainly a formerly colonial country threw off the yoke of
capitalism...by opening the doors to imperialist investment, the same
sort of investment that we denounce as exploitive, extractive,
immiserating, in other third world countries? That's throwing off a
yoke?

3. And took charge of its own destiny....by joining the WO? By
providing tax breaks and subsidies for capitalist investors from Taiwan,
Hong Kong, the US, Germany?

Call me a nitpicker but I believe we have to confine our discussions to
countries on this planet, not the countires on alternative earth where
Walter lives.
