I just read:

Marxismus Nr. 25 Revolution und Konterrevolution in
G r i e c h e n l a n d (Revolution and Counterrevolution in Greece)
590 Seiten A5, 18 Euro, (ISBN 3-901831-21-5)

It gives an excellent overview about the Greek left. The time between 44-49
is covered in chapters 3 and 4. There is an chapter about Yugoslavia as
well.

All in German, though.
