Well, that was interesting....a big "hmmm" from me. Then, to distill
it more...

California, the worlds "9th largest economy", now gets most of it's
gas from Canada, meaning Alberta (maybe 3 billion CF a day?). If the
new gas fields are developed, then a pipeline will be run from...? NW
Ter. through BC to California or will it tie in with the Alberta
pipelines?

Developing this pipeline is part of the *Canadian's effort* to get
the Alaskan North Slope gas fields developed so they can wheel gas
from Alaska INTO Canada and then into the US. This all makes sense
now. It would be good Macdonald  if you can regularly report on the
development of all this to this list to keep us informed.
