I'm not an insider with the unique insight that might bring, but as a
participant in dozens of demos in San Francisco where the ISO seems to be
quite strong, what I see time after time is that they show up at the demo
with a large contingent, all staying together, and have at least sometimes
had a speaker on the program, but never do ANYTHING (as far as I can tell)
to take responsibility for the demo itself, e.g., setup, security, cleanup,
etc. I'll let everyone draw their own conclusions about what that means.
