[Marxism] Reporting on the evil of looting amidst the horror

I find it striking that as the broadcasters report on
the destruction and terrible human suffering in the
Gulf states, they reserve their strongest moral
indignation for "looters." Scenes of hurricane victims
with no place to go being expelled from the Superdome
and hotels, sent out into the flooded streets, inspire
sympathy, but genuine disgust is reserved for those
who violate the rules of property ownership by sifting
through the wreckage.

CB: I had a very similar thought. It shows that the ruling class agencies
have the principle of the sacredness of private property upfront in their
consciousnesses. They are really worried that people don't hold respect for
pp in their hearts .  Like the people should leave money on the counter in
the store or something, respect private property on the "honor system".

These people are going to have no food or water, and the goddamn news
reporters are worried about preserving respect for private property. In
other words, show your respect for private property by starving rather than
"stealing" !

Fuck capitalism !
