I have always liked the Chinese distinction of theory/thought. And I
think it would make a lot of sense to speak of Lenin Thought rather than
Leninism (theory). Lenin himself never pretended to be offering a
general theory having universal application. His thinking was pretty
closely tied to particular conjunctions.Leninism was an invention of
Stalin's, not Lenin's own invention, in any case. So a whole series of
important revolutionary leaders can be sensibly compared to Lenin.
Amilcar Cabral was certainly Lenin's peer.
