I will say flatly that Cuba is controlled by the workers in a
fundamental sense. In every crisis they face, the workers mobilize in
the millions. We've seen it again and again.

This doesn't mean that there is not bureaucracy and corruption amongst
the leadership. But at every turn of the struggle, the workers have
pushed out those who are unresponsive.

I don't thank that "passive acceptance" can in any way describe the
workers in Cuba.

If the Cuban Revolution is destroyed, "defeated by overwhelming force"
maybe.
