Do they? Aren't many American soldiers in Iraq middle-class pro-American
chauvinists? Or is the American army merely a bunch of mercenaries (is that
an either/or)? Does the level of income of imperialist soldiers really
matter? Or should we give them some leeway because they didn't earn that
much *before* they went into the army? Many of the most murderous and
chavinist imperialist armies have been drawn from the ranks of 'the poor'
(sic) (the Nazi SA, the B-Specials, the colonial British army). I don't care
a damn for the bastards.
