Carl, didn't I ask you not to post one-line, baiting rhetorical questions
such as these? If you have your own ideas about Cuba or want to crosspost
somebody else's, please do. I don't think what you are doing here is very
productive. In fact, although my long-time feud with Doug Henwood is pretty
much over, this is exactly the sort of one-line, baiting rhetorical
question that I used to get from him that used to annoy me to no end.
As far as Cuba is concerned, I have written thousands of words on the topic
including something that was written in a debate with a British SWP'er
about 8 years ago:

As a companion piece, I wrote about capitalism in Algeria, a type of
society that state capitalists tend to confuse with Cuba because there was
nationalization and because it had a left-leaning government--at least at
one time.
