Re: [Marxism] Communism, anti-German criticism and Israel
How terribly avant-garde. What 'theoretical' use do you find as an
'activist' in critical theory and council communism? Are 'activists' who
don't have these philosopher's stones doomed to failure? What critique of
'value form' are you impressed by? How is every 'state' a 'fetish' form of
social relationship? Why are you against theocracy in Palestine (which
doesn't exist) but not against theocracy in Israel (which does exist)? Why
do you use German words to denote the Palestinian national community? Why do
you compare the lives of gay men and women in Palestine with the victims of
racist imperialist oppression? Perhaps its tough being gay in some American
prisons- does that mean we support the jailer? Does it not strike you that
American, Israeli, Pakistani, and probably British intelligence have been
heavily involved in arming, training, and directing elements of 'political
Islam' just as they have armed and financed 'political Judaism'? You remind
me of listmember Barney Katz.
'Now if there's a smile on my face,
it's only there tryin' to fool the public,
but when it comes down to foolin' you;
Now honey, that's quite a different subject'.

Ed THE CLOWN WROTE:
The care and seriousness shown by the anti-Germans for
aspects of the ultra-left tradition, such as the
council communists, critical theory, and value form
critique, is impressive to anyone dismayed by the
theoretical impoverishment of much of the activist
milieu.
I find much of what the anti-Germans write concerning
political Islam and its affinities with National
Socialism to be enlightening. So long as the
"anti-imperialist" Left refuses to struggle against
theocratic fascism, people like Hitchens and the
Anti-Germans will be serving a useful purpose.
There's no question that daily life for people living
in the occupied territories is a hell. Just like
there's no question that life for gay men and lesbian
women in the Palestinian volksgemeinschaft is also a
living hell.
I am a communist and am for the abolition of all
states, the state being a reified, fetish-form of
social relationship just like capital and nation.
