I read a great sci fi novel years ago, I believe by Phillip K. Dick.  The
plot unfolded in a cau-yalubi type space , folding in on itself in
multi-dimensional  complications that resulted from defective or early model
teletransportation technology for travel between  star systems:  People
getting trapped in "Groundhog Day" situations, all very subtle effects, none
of this coming out at the other end with your foot where your ear should be,
questions of which reality was the real one, and special rehab units for
those suffering displacement distress, etc.  can't remember the name of the
book however.  Help?
