Regarding the Point Blank editorials, in the main I agree with Fred.

From a formal point of view, the latest editorial is more "politically
correct" than the earlier one. However, workers being upset over
profiteering on the lives of U.S. soldiers is the beginning of an
awareness over the course of the Iraq war and imperialist war in
general. The incident could have been used to educate Point Blank
workers and workers in general about war and patriotism, perhaps with a
sidebar on Arthur Miller's "All My Sons."
