OK, maybe I'll ask a schoolteacher at Hue - one that wasn't tied to a
bunch of other teachers, stabbed to death, buried in a shallow grave
and covered with lime during the Tet offensive.

It would seem to me the Vietnamese, who had coveted Cambodia long
before 1979, would naturally be on the lookout for the atrocity
stories the western media was eating up prior to 1979, kind of like
Goebbels and the Katyn massacre. Of course, as you said, they hated
the Vietnamese more than the Cambodia so it didn't work out.

Outside of Michael Vickery, Noam Chomsky, Ed Herman and some other
works which are more polemic and less scholarly, most of the
information out there, the Readers Digest "Murder of a Gentle Land"
stuff is just complete nonsense. Just as the idea that the Vietnamese
are still holding American POW's is nonsense.
