Collective hysteria? Well... I guess I'm part of it. Ask the
Vietnamese soldiers who liberated Cambodia what they saw!
If anything the CPK's ATROCITIES were UNDERDONE in the US. The only
reason the Khmer Rouge survived into the early 90s was US and Chinese
support.
