SDS and FRSO[FR] (was RE: [Marxism] White Skin Privilege

I thank Craig for saving me the trouble of having to respond to Mark Lause,
who otherwise seems to be a reasonable person.

I fully agree with all that Craig said.

While Mark's spotting efforts on the SDS, RYM II and Weather U. are good
stuff, they are as relevant to this discussion as me bringing up that even
in lefty restaurants people try to order stuff from me even when I am a
customer, or that cops have not beaten me up to beat a darker skined guy
during busts.

If ML is ever available to have a serious discussion on the correct
approaches and limits on using the framework of white skin privilege to
analize the relationships between class and race in the USA, I am available.
If he continues to digress into ad hominems and irrelevant political
traumas, then I am not. I also have my pet peeves with the white left, and
beyond hinting at them, I don't bring them up as they are irrelevant.

I must say FRSO[Freedom Road] is one of the better white left organizations.
They don't pontificate to communities of color, have a pretty heavy people
of color involvement and are self-critical of their limits in this regards.
They don't fetishize racial questions, nor are they driving by liberal
guilt. Some of the stuff on the Chicanos they have is some of the best ever,
and written by Chicanos, which is impressive.

Plus, they have put forward the only concrete idea for anti-sectarian
struggle I have yet to see from the left in the USA. Beyond "unity is unity
with me" fake anti-sectarianism.

You all should learn from them.
