You misconstrue my comments, as they relate only specifically to the racial
power relations in the USA, as a social construction.

Your hypothetical Cuban left-winger critical of Batista doesn't grow up in
an imperialist country as part of the power structure based around
white-skin privilege, nor would she or he be speaking about events outside
of their immediate political space from a perspective of imperialist
privilege. There would be no inherent contradiction on his or her views on
Batista, like I sustain there exists between supporting Nader and being
critical of Lula.

Now, you might be surprised, there where indeed people in the M-26, who
joined up to fight "El Negro". But this is an entirely different form of
racism, with its roots in Spanish, not Usonian imperialism.

Now, you might think my comments are weird, but that doesn't speak as to
them being correct or not.

Althought interestingly, your example was indeed useful, not to weaken my
views on privilege of imperialist country lefts deforming their political
views, but rather on how to express it. White-skin privilege is a social
construction, whereas you apparently view it as a biological expression. We
cannot discuss things if we are not even on the same page regarding what a
term means or its political implications.
