Fair enough, Calvin. Though, you just wrote, "It should not be
forgotten that the 'bedrock realities' of the American economy were
historically shaped by political praxis, and not merely apologised for
antecedently."
Workers (even those with less melatonin) did not establish those bedrock
realities. They did they come up with the religious or pseudoscientific
assumptions fundamental to racism. It can also be argued--I'd argue
it--the farther one looks from the apex of power and wealth, faith in
these ideological assumptions of the civilization tends to fade.
Anyway, that was the argument of the COMMUNIST MANIFESTO, not so?
