Barry Sheppard was in Salt Lake City a couple weeks ago.  He spoke to the
ecumenical "Utah Socialists" group of revolutionary socialists in which i
participate and did a book signing at a local bookstore.
        It was interesting and useful to have a chance to talk with Barry
about his past experiences and his current political thinking.  Barry's
talks and visit were especially educational for younger activists.  He has
written a valuable book.
        We need to give Barry support and encouragement in writing volume
two on his experiences with the Socialist Workers Party from 1973 to 1988.
This will be a more difficult task than writing volume one.
