[Marxism] Bring Them Home Now!
One of the most popular buttons during the fight against the Vietnam
War was an image of a seated soldier with his head in his hand (black
color) and the slogan "Bring the Troops Home Now!"
The image should be changed. It looks like a WWII GI, but the slogan
remains apt, howeverI think that it can be simplified into:
Bring Them Home Now!
There remains the problem of the image.
We can come up with a neutral image, one that doesn't imply that the
soldier him/herself is upset about the war. It can be used by both
those who claim to support the troops and want them home and those who
feel that volunteer soldiers are also part of the problem.
The thrust of the demand, which is against the government, remains the
same.
If a soldier is used, it shouldn't be one seated and slumping. There
could be a helicopter, a tank, the word Iraq with a slash through it,
etc.
There may already be some like this. If there are, perhaps some
contributer can indicate the urls.
