Re: [Marxism] ISO: "For a Mass, Non-Exclusionary Antiwar Movement"

The slogan that has appeared at the top of my blog for quite some time now
is this:

"Not one cent more for occupation and war!" (followed by "Out Now!")

This slogan not only emphasizes that the U.S. has to get out immediately (as
opposed to the "set the date and leave sometime in the future" slogan which
is popular on the "moderate" left), but also ties it together (implicitly,
but I think clearly) with the broad cutbacks in social services happening
here in the U.S., which I believe can be directly tied in people's minds to
the massive war spending (I realize that it is arguable that cutbacks would
be happening even in the absence of the current war, but I believe it is
very clear that the extent of the cutbacks has been broadened by war
spending, and moreover I believe most people believe that). The antiwar
movement must be able to emphasize both halves of that equation in order to
build the strength it needs, and I believe this slogan embodies that need
moreso than just the simple "Out Now!"
