[Marxism] on posting from work addresses
occasionally someone will post accidentally from their work address. if
this address is not amongst your subscribed addresses it will bounce to
Lou and I.
occasionally we see the name of someone we know in the bounce address,
realize the mistake they made, and forward it on anyway (Mailman now
gives us that luxury, this was harder to do when we were at panix). but
more and more we are seeing people who need to keep their work address
concealed from marxmail and the web. it gets harder therefore for Lou
and I to keep track of who doesnt care what address they post under, and
who does.
so the easiest thing is just to say, now, if you post from an
unsubscribed address, we delete it. you repost from a subbed address.
and the easiest way to help yourself, if you do post from multiple
addresses and you do not need to conceal them from the web, is to add
that address to the subscriber list and select the no email delivery
option. this will allow you to post from multiple addresses, but receive
email at only one.
