Re: [Marxism] "Nazarín"

In a nutshell:

Dali, once a great admirer of Lenin and the communists, became an even
greater admirer of the Franco, finding in the vicious corporatist
Catholicism of Falangism, something more appealing to his deeply
religious, commercial inner self.

Breton and the surrealists broke with and denounced him whenever and
wherever the could. Peret, Breton's closest collaborator had fought
against Franco during the civil war.
