[Marxism] Million Worker March movement

Friends- Organizers from the Million Worker March movement (MWM) are coming
to Detroit May 14-15 for a national strategy meeting. MWM combines unions,
community organizers and anti-war activists in a militant network to fight
against war and for the right to health care, education, housing, etc.
Delegates are coming from coast to coast.

This will be a rare opportunity to exchange information and views on how

we can really fight back, locally and nationally.

A PUBLIC SPEAK OUT will be held on Saturday, May 14 from 6-8 PM at UAW Local
22 (4300 Michigan Avenue - just west of W. Grand Blvd.). One of the themes
is "Stop starving the cities to feed the Pentagon!" We urge activists from
Michigan to come and participate. Every part of our

state is being hit with layoffs, cuts in education funding, union busting,
and more. Let's connect our fights with those around the nation. We can't
allow the current policies and priorities to continue.
