Except everything being said is just so much speculation. Anything a
pope does or doesn't do only has resonance to the degree that the social
structures are already shifting, moving-- a la the previous war pope's
homilies to those "suffering" under godless communism.
See how insidious this is? I don't want to talk about the pope, and
there I go talking about the pope.
Christ, where is Joaquin's virulent, and righteous, anti-papism when you
need it?
