[Marxism] Re: Preliminary comments on Sheppard's memoir

I think Brian Shannon is right about Barry's reticence to extensively
describe his relations with women and so forth.

I remember reading Tim Wohlforth's memoir, very interesting politically,
but with several "good parts" describing his passionate involvement with
the women in his life. The first thing I thought when I finished the
book was, "Well, I'm certainly glad I never dated that guy."

So I admit that when Barry asked me to help edit the memoir, my first
joking comment was, "No sex, okay?" So the lack of romance may be all my
fault, although he already seemed to be on that wavelength.
