[Marxism] keep it on the political not personal level
Louis concludes his rebuttal to bobo926 as follows -
I have a better idea. Why don't you begin to participate here on the same
basis as everybody else. Is it that you have no interest in broader
questions of the class struggle?
Just because Bob doesn't send in 2, 3 MANY posts everyday on every topic
under the sun doesn't mean that he has no interest in those areas. Some of us
actually have work and family situations that preclude living in front of a
keyboard and dazzling readers with our intellectual brilliance. Bob has played
an
exemplary role within the NJ Green Party, fighting uncompromisingly for
political independence against the ABBers, led by NJ's own Ted Glick. Perhaps
that
is where he chooses to spend the bulk of his political time. Rather than be
dissed for it, his contributions should be accepted in a comradely way as part
of
the process of dialogue and education. Most of the contributions to this list
are made by 6-10 people. I would wager that the great majority of readers of
this list are in a similar situation to Bob's and shouldn't be made to feel
that unless they comment upon everything, they should comment upon nothing.
